This was a gift from my MIL. It is a painting called “Evening at Autumn Lake” by Thomas Kinkade. (FYI: I think that is pronounced Kin-Kade, but more fun pronounced Kink-ade.) It took me four days to put it together because by about 3pm each day it would get too dark to see and I would have to wait until the next morning to work on it again. It is 1000 pieces and I would say, medium challenging. The painting style is blobby and out-of-focus. I like the theme though, of a warmly-lit cabin in the woods.
Puzzles appeal to my passion for organization. I’m very methodical about the whole process and once I get started, I want to keep going until it’s done. The video is a quick slide show of progress photos.
Who’s out there who likes to do puzzles, too? Honk at me!
Yeah it’s been years! I remember one I did had the same pic on both sides rotated 90 degrees. It was supposed to be the most difficult puzzle ever. It was surprisingly easy! I think it only had 500 pieces if I remember correctly. It had too much detail to be hard.

That is a new concept to me. I haven’t seen one like that before.

It was fun, but definitely not the hardest. They should do one like that with a hard pic (like water, etc.)

We used to do them when I was a child. I love doing them, but haven’t done one in awhile.

I’m trying to get my kids into puzzles too. The younger one is on board.

Yep. I like them but I don’t do them often. I really liked the video showing progress – great idea.

I hate puzzles. I am terribly disorganized, and lose interest quickly. But when I see a puzzle under construction, I always do manage to find that one piece …
